Frog Princess Thing

So I saw Princess and the Frog today....

So. I was more or less unimpressed, which makes me pretty sad. I mean the animation was mostly pretty (I loved Tiana's design, as well as Charlottes and even Naveen's but overall...) but some characters (the stupid gator and Ray) designs made me cringe. Especially the gator since Ray actually had a purpose.

Okay...my biggest beef with this movie was the freaking music...and how there was so much of it. Don't get me wrong, I like Disney musical movies...but this one was too much. There seemed to be hardly any dialogue as everyone needed a song...or even two or three songs. It got on my nerves. Worse most of the songs weren't even memorable. The 'Almost There' song wasn't bad, and a couple of others but...blagh, most of them were forgettable. Hell I don't even remember half of them.

The story itself was...bleh. The first quarter and the last quarter were great! I loved them! The middle was boring as hell and redundant/cliche. And. I. Hate. That. Alligator! Oh my gods the most annoying and useless character in that movie...he should have never been included. Ugh.

What I did like was that Ray died...and stayed dead! He was the ugliest, stupidest looking character but he actually had a decent story so in the end I didn't mind him. Still did they have to give him such a terrible accent and such a terrible character design? Ugh.

The frog designs for the most part were okay but Tiana's annoyed me a bit. It was so....unrealistic. Naveen's at least looked somewhat like a frog but Tiana just look emaciated and...ugly. I mean at first I like her design but as the movie wore on it just seemed...bland.

I dunno...the movie wasn't bad but it wasn't what I was hoping for either. Either way I'm hoping Disney keeps making animated movies because I will always go see them. I sorely miss animated movies...

I broke Dragon Age today...

I was trying to plug in and recharge my controller as it went out with the game going...and I accidentally tipped my Xbox 360... Horrendous grinding sound ensued and BAM...my game is no longer playable.

I weep. I weep bad.

Going to Best Buy tomorrow to exchange it hopefully....

So much weeping...

So the computer from my guildmates on WoW arrived today.....Soooooooooooo much I have to do! Plus it's Vista...I HATE Vista. As soon as I get a chance I'll be grabbing Window's 7 and praying that it's better than Vista. Graaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah...I hate Vista.

My main problem right now is that it won't play any sound. At all. Period. It reads that there is sound, the equalizers(?) move as if there is sound but there is no sound coming out. Yes it's plugged in right and turned on. I'm so annoyed by this! And despite the fact that I had a good portion of my stuff on my external hard drive my bookmarks are all gone and I can't remember half of them! Grrr.

Also I think I may try to put in my graphics card but I worry it's going to over heat the system. I wonder if I can find a way to add a couple fans...but I have no idea how to do so! Grrr....

Haha, despite all the grrs I am happy to have my own computer again!

Vista sucks.

Sound is working...thank gods I was at my wits end! *listens happily to music* Next is to switch the graphics card...but that's a job for tomorrow!

.....well....

I have the greatest guild mates in WoW ever! A husband/wife team in my guild are sending me a computer they don't use anymore, but used to play WoW on....sending me a computer, for free.

...I am beyond words. I am so happy and so grateful....I just don't know how to say thank you enough to them. Gods....sometimes I think I have the worst luck ever, and sometimes I am just so grateful to people I know....

So my computer is dead. It fell today when I was trying to figure out why my parents monitor wasn't working. The fall killed it...somethings wrong with the motherboard or cpu...I don't know how to fix it and such.

I think I'm gonna go cry now and be extremely depressed...

Doodled a few days ago while volunteering...on a random whim decided to try coloring tonight. Just messing around...I can never seem to color how I want to color in PS...*sigh*

Some of these were already on here others are from volunteering. I have a lot of time to doodle while volunteering..what can I say? I have other doodles but I haven't gotten around to scanning them yet.

So my guild just one shotted Vezax. It was the third time we fought him. Did it first on Thursday. Twice. One shotted him today.

Last week we one shotted Mimiron on our first try in there as a guild...

And I got my spear.

I'm a happy kitty.

*edit* And we also got Yogg into two portal phases in phase 2. On our third try.

It's been a long time...so once again it's WoW Screenshot time!

We start out this round with pretty screenies! Ooh, look at the shiny that is under Icecrown! I don't remember where though....D:

Silly Badlands...looking almost tranquil!

This is actually Dragonblight....probably the only pretty picture you are going to get out of there!

There was a quest in Icecrown that turned you into a ghost...and then I somehow fell through the world. I fell for a looooong time...never died just kept floating down. I eventually realized that I could cancel the ghost form and bam, I was back on the surface. Interesting times were had.

I just love facial bugs!

And pet bugs....

And loading bugs....

Fishing as a wasp certainly has it's perks!

Double Trouble!

Going in circles on my turtle made for an interesting pattern on the snow....boy did I get dizzy!

I used to love to confound other players by jumping onto the top of the fountain in the Horde area in Dalaran. They'd always try to jump and get where I was and always failed. Sadly they have since removed the hole above the fountain....I was much sadface.

That is how things should be! ....dammit I fucking miss my old guild....*weeps*

For some reason this screenshot just has such compelling eyes. This is my boomkin (then baby) Lunapaw. I just love how it looks for some reason...

Earth looks good in her gear. I really need the spear from Vezax though...and just two more pieces until I complete my t8.5 set! Whoot!

Needless to say I was quite happy when I got my Raven Lord mount...

A line of Raven Lords! They are becoming quite common on my server...much to my sadness. At least 3 people have it in my guild alone! Yes...and the druid with guild tag is now my guild tag as well! They are wonderful people...but I still miss my old guild. *sad*

I put together a new UI yesterday...I quite like it but I'm still getting used to it. XD There are still some things that bug me...namely the MonkeyQuest and the buff bars along with Eavesdrop....*sigh* I'll figure it out though!

I'm so effing depressed....this keyboard I bought just doesn't seem to be working out.

*sighs* It's pretty, is nice, but it appears that I fail. I fail at raiding with it, I fail at doing dailies with it, I fail with it period. I've had it over a week now and I'm still not able to do jack shit when I raid. I can't move and attack at the same time, my dps has dropped so terribly that I've become a liablilty...needless to say I've spent today crying over it. I fucking wasted my money. Again.

Stuff like this makes me hate myself. I wonder why I ever thought I could change, maybe do something better. Instead this fucking keyboard has hampered my ability to anything... When I saw the dps report for our raid last night I about emo logged. Sure, the three fights were not fights that are conducive to cat dps...too much moving and not being able to be behind the boss or shit like that. (Thorim, Hodir, Freya) Still, my dps made me look like some idiot fucktard cat druid...

Right now I don't think I could even bring myself to raid tonight unless I switch to my other keyboard. I'm seriously thinking of selling this keyboard to my brothers friend and buying a Reclusa or something that glows pretty but I can go back to my old way of playing.

Because right now I fucking fail...

....I just don't know. I mean, it's soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better than the old cat form but there's something about it that I just don't care for. I'm relatively sure it has something to do with the muzzle...I mean it slopes downwards a bit and the area around the nose seems....flat. I like the nose and nose ring, but in general there's just something about it that I just don't care for. And I don't like the paws....they are blobby.

But still, I must say I'm very happy to even HAVE a BRAND SPANKING NEW cat form! Not just a recolor of the old model, but a brand new form. Even if I don't like all of it....I'm still happy. And the colors are just delicious! Scar ftw! And I love the blondie...and black...and white. Hell the only one I don't like is the top middle one!

So kudos to you Blizzard, you did well...mostly....
